Bethlehem turned the carcass of Bethlehem Steel into one of the most striking arts campuses in America. SteelStacks, set directly beneath the rusted blast furnaces, hosts hundreds of concerts and festivals a year, including free summer programming at the Levitt Pavilion. Musikfest each August is the city's crown jewel — ten days, multiple stages, and one of the largest music festivals in the nation, most of it free. A casino event center across the campus books arena-level touring names. Come December, the city leans into its Moravian heritage as Christmas City USA, with Christkindlmarkt ranking among the country's best holiday markets.
