Zine Scene - DIY Miniature Magazines

About this event

Pronounced "zeen" (like maga-zine), a zine is a handmade, independent booklet. Think of it as a do-it-yourself mini-magazine. They've been used for decades by artists, punks, and activists to share ideas outside of the mainstream media. There are no rules - zines can be about your favorite recipes, political manifestos, personal poetry, or just drawings of cool rocks. If you have something to say, a zine is the perfect place to say it. No "artistic talent" required - just a desire to create. All supplies provided. Free and open to the public.
