Zine Making Workshop

About this event

Meeting Room 1. Zines are self-published "magazines" or booklets people have used for decades to share what they are passionate about and offer perspectives outside the mainstream. Come check out a zine collection and get inspired to make your own! During this program, create a zine of your own showcasing your creativity and giving a voice to your personal experiences. Learn how to replicate your zines and participate in zine trading! About the instructor: Emily Donnel (she/her) Emily is a passionate crafter who loves sewing, painting and papercraft, but her favorite thing to craft is community! She loves the opportunities the libraries create for her to connect with others who enjoy books and crafting as much as she does. When she's not crafting at the library, Emily is studying for her masters in teaching and working in her garden.
