Zikr Dance – Runes

Denver’s critically acclaimed Zikr Dance Ensemble returns to the Ute Theater with “RUNES”! “RUNES” will explore the power of the transformative energies of some of ancient history’s most iconic symbols, and the light code language of the future through two of Artistic Director David Taylor’s most powerful works, “Runes”, and “Light Codes”. This show will also include stunning works by internationally acclaimed choreographers Sidi Cherkaoui and Tomm Rudd, and will conclude with audience favorite and signature work, “In Your Eyes” , to the music of Peter Gabriel.
