Yuck-toberfest Off Flavors Course

It's Oktoberfest season, but why just enjoy beer when you can taste how bad beer can be!? Okay – that wasn't the best sales pitch, so how about… Have you ever had a beer that you just wanted to yeet away from your face because there was something wrong, but you couldn't put your finger on why? Are you a beer professional going on the Cicerone journey and want some in-your-face (literally) experience? Are you a recreational beer geek who wants to do beer geek things? Then this course is for you! Lead by Advanced Cicerone and beer judge, Miss Lupulin (AKA Dev Adams), you will learn how to identify common off-flavors, what causes them, how to prevent them, and how to talk about them. This is a course perfect for those who already love beer – whether as drinkers, servers, or brewers – and are looking to level-up their knowledge. It all goes down 9am on September 19th at Old 121 Brewhouse on Oak Street in Lakewood. Stick around afterwards to cleanse your palate with some fine beers brewed by our gracious hosts (you'll definitely need it)! Registrations are $40 each (no additional fees!) and include off-flavor tasting and all course materials. After registering you will receive a link to pay for your registration. If you don't pay by 11:59pm September 15th, you spot will be offered to the next person on the waitlist. Discounts are available for groups of five or more individuals registering and paying together. Simply fill out the registration form and follow the instructions for a group registration. Registrations are limited to the first 20 individuals, so register now! Registration is non-refundable. This is a 21+ event and every attendee will need to bring a government-issued ID showing their age. Anyone who is unable to provide this proof will be unable to participate and will not be issued a refund. Please do not bring anyone (including children) who have not registered.
