Your Story, Out Loud, a three-part workshop with Sheela Clary

Everyone has stories worth telling. Most of us just need someone to help us locate the important ones and shape them into being. Your Story, Out Loud is a three-session storytelling workshop led by Sheela Clary, journalist, emcee, and founder of The Village Green. Held on three consecutive Tuesday mornings, the workshop welcomes both experienced writers and those entirely new to storytelling. Participants need only a story that matters to them and a willingness to share it aloud. To culminate this workshop, participants will be invited to share their story before a live audience at Barrington Hall! Through three mornings of immersive, experiential work, participants will explore the craft of personal storytelling: identifying resonant moments from lived experience, shaping them with meaningful detail, and developing trust in their own voice. Between sessions, Sheela works individually with each participant, offering thoughtful guidance and personalized coaching as stories take shape.
