Led Arturo Hernandez Gomez (of Fiddle & Fern and Desert Opus) and Nicola Lee Kilyushik (Moving Meditation), this unique music and movement collaboration begins with gentle breath-work before unfolding into a slow, meditative yin yoga practice with live violin intuitively woven throughout, adding resonance and depth to the experience. Rita Deanin Abbey’s poetry from Seeds Yet Ever Secret will gently guide the class, deepening the connection between sound, movement, and reflection—an expression of the museum’s commitment to creating meaningful, interdisciplinary experiences rooted in her legacy. The session concludes with an extended, fully supported savasana and live sound immersion, guiding you into a deeply calming, dream-like state that supports nervous system regulation, clarity, and renewal. No prior experience is needed; just come ready to slow down, listen, and receive. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, water bottle, and any additional props or supports you may need for comfort.
