Authoring fence-hopping billies and rabbits affright, the hopes of honouring Wonderment; a magic lost to us who have grown, and a promise made to the child we once were. “Meadowlark” is a diary-turned-storybook penned by writer and illustrator Keath Ósk as a means to portray oneself through melody-given apologues, performed by a cast of characters drawn from their own childhood, a medley of perspectives from then and the now and the who they wish to become. They voice to perform in their stead to remark on narrative, and with it offer parables played in song.
