The Grand Folk Dance Concert is the culmination of the Latvian Song and Dance Festival, honoring the centuries-long tradition of folk dance by exploring choreography ranging from simple country dances to modern iterations including the influence of the Latvian diaspora. Skaista Mana Tevu Zeme, which translates to My Beautiful Fatherland, celebrates Latvias connection to nature and will take the audience on a journey through Latvias fields and forests, rolling hills and beautiful seaside.
