About this event
This welcoming introduction takes the mystery out of poetry and explores how poems work. We’ll read a small selection together, talk about what we notice, and discover how poets use words, rhythm, imagery, and form to create meaning. No preparation or experience required; just bring your curiosity. Whether poetry is brand new to you or you’re returning to it after some time away, this is a great place to begin.
