Writing Fiction & Fantasy: Worldbuilding and More

Build a world that feels lived-in, with ecosystems, cultures, and languages that hold together. Join us for MFA-level techniques, writing time, and peer sharing, all rooted in craft, science, and experience. Whether you're mapping a continent or just trying to make your tavern feel real, bring your imagination and a pen. This is a friendly and accessible session for all levels of writers, led by a published MFA student, and we encourage you to bring materials to take notes or brainstorm! Hosted by Maddox Lightning, who is earning her MFA in Popular Fiction and Publishing at Emerson College. Her work has been featured in CHO literary journal and Paper Plane Press Vol. 4. Space is limited - reserve your spot here!
