The Writers Room offers a supportive space to explore your ideas, experiment with your writing, and discover what makes your voice unique and compelling. About the event The Writers’ Room A 3-Day Creative Writing Workshop | 10 AM–2 PM Three days to spark your creativity and unleash your next idea. All you need to do is show up and bring something to write on (laptop, journal, napkins- you pick). Let us help you do the rest. We’re committed to creating a safe space to get the creative juices flowing, explore what speaks to you, and provide supportive feedback in both group, and individual settings. Together we’ll discover what makes our writing unique, compelling, and relatable. The workshop includes writing prompts and exercises, free-writing time, one-on-one mentoring, and opportunities to read and share your work with the group. Whether you’re polishing a final draft, developing a personal project, or just getting started, you’ll find encouragement, feedback, and inspiration. We will break for lunch. The café will not be open so make sure to bring snacks and nibbles. Becky Wahlstrom is an actress, writer, arts educator, and mental health therapist.
