About this event
Please plan to enjoy the community wide celebration of the renovation work in historic Wright Square (corner of Egmont and George Streets). Join us and experience the renovated landscaping that highlights two marble columns that were once part of The Oglethorpe Hotel. Old Glynn Middle School once occupied the north half of this historic square. Please gather with us at 5:00 on Friday, October 23, 2026 to celebrate and remember the accomplishments of landscape architect Jerry Spencer who dedicated 20 years to the renovation of Brunswick’s 14 historic squares.
