Woodshop - Cutting Board Make & Take

In this class, you will make your own take-home, solid wood cutting board while learning woodshop safety and the fundamental use of the tools listed below. This class fulfills the necessary certification to use our woodshop with a paid Make Salt Lake membership. Our instructor will guide you through the process step by step, tool by tool. Topics Covered Dual Compound Miter Saw Jointer Tablesaw Planer Bandsaw Jigsaw Drill Press Router Table Hand Router Oscillating Sanders Orbital Hand Sander Additional Information* Every attendee will leave with a cutting board of their own making. Attendees must be at least 13 years and up. After the successful completion of this class attendees will be given a certificate allowing them use of the woodshop with a paid Make Salt Lake membership.
