Woodcarved Cooking Spoon Workshop

About this event

Learn the basic techniques of wood carving from an experienced carver and cook to create a useful and effective cooking spoon. The instructor will demonstrate how to use wood carving tools safely, make functional design choices, and finish your spoon for use in your kitchen. All tools and materials are included, but you are welcome to bring your personal wood carving tools for this workshop. This is an exciting learning opportunity for beginner and experienced woodworking students alike. The Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen.
