Women's Self Defense Course

Offsite. Event location: Level Road School House. 198 Level Road, Collegeville, PA 19426 NEW PROGRAM: The Lower Providence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Women's Self Defense Course on Tuesday, December 15th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Level Road School House. There are several reasons women might want to learn self-defense. The most obvious reason is that you want to be prepared to defend yourself or family if you're ever in imminent or immediate danger. A study conducted by the Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that 1 in 6 women had experienced a sexual or attempted sexual assault. It is all about learning how to defend yourself and think clearly in very intense situations. It is about gaining the confidence to better control situations that might otherwise be completely outside of your control. Register for this course now at www.lprtec.com
