Witnessing Your Emotions With Love *Acknowledging the feelings that make us human.* How often do we judge ourselves (and others) for having feelings? Too emotional. Too sensitive. Too angry. Too sad. Too much. We spend lifetimes stuffing emotions away, distracting ourselves, or pretending we’re “fine.” But what if our emotions aren’t problems to solve at all? What if they simply want to be welcomed in, named, and acknowledged? Inspired by the work of Katherine Woodward Thomas and the exercise *Witnessing Your Emotions With Love* from *Calling In "The One,"* this workshop offers us opportunity to slow down, become present, and explore our emotional landscapes with compassion. Together we’ll: * Explore the emotions that shape our lives * Discuss the messages we learned about feelings growing up * Identify our personal emotions that show up repeatedly * Meditate and reflect on our own experiences with feeling * Journal our results * Discuss how this may change our future emotional expression First, we'll discuss, then and spent time on inner reflection and meditation. We'll provide paper for writing, but feel free to bring your own journal Judgement Free Zone from beginning to end.
