Conference Room. Learn how to start seeds outdoors this winter by making miniature greenhouses out of repurposed milk jugs. Winter sowing is a method of seed starting that utilizes the natural freezing and thawing cycles in winter to break seed dormancy and grow hardy seedlings that are acclimated to outdoor conditions. You may bring your own seeds, or visit our seed library before the program and choose from our selection.
