Calling all budding photographers! buy online Interested in getting started in wildlife photography? The Louisville Zoo and Murphy’s Camera are here to help! Murphy’s Camera expert Ayrica Bishop will introduce you to camera basics, the exposure triangle, composition, and how to make the most of available light. Zoo Public Relations Manager Kyle Shepherd will share photographic tips on animal behaviors to watch for and the best moments to capture dynamic action shots throughout the Zoo. Designed for teens and adults with little to no wildlife photography experience, this hands-on session goes beyond the classroom and into the Zoo. Participants are encouraged to bring their own camera, whether it’s a DSLR, mirrorless camera, interchangeable-lens camera or even just your cell phone. On Sept. 26, we’ll explore the lower half of the Zoo, from Glacier Run to Tiger Taiga, where you’ll have the opportunity to photograph polar bears, grizzly bears, seals, sea lions, snow leopards and Amur tigers. Before heading out to capture these incredible mammals, we’ll expect to welcome a few smaller animals into the classroom, giving participants a chance to practice photography techniques in a more controlled setting. We hope you can join us! buy online
