About this event
Set in a conservative seaside village, the story follows an ostracized, lonely fisherwoman who is perpetually ridiculed by her neighbors. Tired of being mocked, she commissions a local basketmaker to weave her a husband made entirely of wicker. When her extraordinary creation comes to life with a soulful and charismatic spirit, their unconventional romance sparks outrage, jealousy, and upheaval throughout the traditional community.
