About this event

Community Room, 107. Artist, writer, publisher, and good steward of the zine landscape Marc Fischer will discuss his approach to publishing, share recent examples of his work in response to the current political moment, and read the text "Why Self-Publish Under Fascism?” He’ll also discuss publishing strategies for print with an emphasis on rapid production with limited resources. National Lawyers Guild member and civil rights attorney Amanda Yarusso will join the discussion sharing her perspective on movement lawyering and protected speech during a time when someone in Texas was just sentenced to 30 years for the crime of moving a box of zines(!)
