Wheel 101 @ Mudfire Clay Studio

Perfect for beginners, join us for a Wheel 101 class. We'll tour the studio and demo the basics. We'll help you make 2-3 small pieces on the wheel. We start beginners with 1lb of clay each so you can gain control with the clay and make your own pieces instead of us making them for you. You will get to select your own glaze colors from our stellar selection of house made glazes (they're amazing!). Please note, you're taking a class learning how to make pottery - which is a medium with a lot of loss. We do our best to shepherd your pieces through both firings - but ceramics are prone to breakage, and we do not guarantee that every piece made will survive the firings. The product you're purchasing is the class, not your fired, finished pieces (they are a bonus!). 💲2 hours @ $65 per person. However, only a $10 deposit is required to hold your space. Over the next 4 to 6 weeks, they'll be babysitting your pieces while they dry, trimming them, firing them, glazing them and then packing them up for you!
