What's Yours Like? Improv

Tellin' Tales Theatre takes its mission "to shatter barriers between the disabled and non-disabled worlds through the transformative power of personal story" to the world of improv. "What's Yours Like" is inspired by a theme developed by the audience at the start of each show. Then, improvisers with and without disabilities leap into action and develop humorous and unpredictable narratives in real-time. The result matches the spontaneity and unpredictability of life, making each show a unique experience. "Mine is shriveled." "Mine vibrates." "Mine hangs to the left."... "What's yours like? Opening Performers Lindsay Porter Lindsay has performed at Zanies, The Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Shrine, and is a part of the recurring show Menace to Sobriety with SNL alum Nora Dunn at the Lincoln Lodge in Chicago. She is part of The Badmomz of Comedy, as featured on the Kelly Clarkson show. She has performed at festivals and independently produced shows all over Chicago and the midwest. Ross Childs Ross Childs came to the Windy City in 2013 from Houston, Texas. He has studied all the comedy classes has to offer from iO, The Annoyance Theatre, and The Second City, and has used all the teaching he has learned to become, in his words, “real good at make-em-ups”. He has been a member of the theatre company BYOT productions and Murder Mystery Company and recently performed his own one-man show, “Taste The Future." He also is a TikTok comedian. He has over 592,700 subscribers.
