About this event
The John Newman Honeybee Company is a Baltimore city-based beekeeping business focused on sustainable beekeeping, local food sovereignty, and community education. Founded in 2019 by educator Nikkia Rowe, the company manages hives across Maryland to harvest raw, local honey and craft handmade goods. Beyond producing honey, the company works directly with local youth and community members to share the art of beekeeping, protect native pollinators, and highlight urban ecology.
