Join Odawa Anishinaabe writer Sierra Biidaaban Nadeau, author of the new bookWhat the Ancestors Say, for an afternoon of storytelling, conversation, and celebration as part of National Native American Heritage Month. An award‑winning journalist, Sierra will reflect on how her reporting on Michigan’s Indian boarding schools grew into a sweeping journey through her own family’s history, the memories of survivors, and intergenerational Native resilience. The program will conclude with a traditional dance performance, author meet‑and-greet, and book signing. For adults.
