They’re back…and they’re bringing Bernstein! Join us for West Side Story, Bernstein’s legendary Musical score, reimagined for jazz trio. Joe Policastro Trio, an acclaimed Chicago-based ensemble performs their West Side Story Suite live at the Phil Center. Bassist Joe Policastro, guitarist Dave Miller, and drummer Mikel Avery transform your favorites “Maria,” “Tonight,” “Somewhere,” and more into an intimate, hard-swinging, chamber jazz experience. This evening has something for everyone: jazz, musical theater, classical music, performing arts! If you saw them at the Phil Center in July, you already know what this trio can do.
