**Trail Description:** Join us for a fun and easy hike at the West Palisades. We will do 6-8 miles on unpaved/paved trails. **Difficulty Level** Moderate (mixed surface trail). **Distance:** 6-8 miles **Estimated Duration:** 3+ hours **Pace:** Moderate, 2.0-2.5 mph. Please be able to keep up with the group. **Meeting Location:** Palisades West Trail * Pin: (33.89179, -84.44475) **Start Time:** * 9 am sharp **Parking Info:** * $10 day-use fee Don't miss out on the opportunity to exercise, enjoy nature, and make new friends. See you all there. **Dog Policy** Dogs are welcome on leash per the park website. Dogs must be leashed and under owner control at all times. **Event Guidelines** * We will begin promptly at the listed time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start together. * This group is for people ages 18 and over who are Meetup members, and each person may bring up to one adult guest. * Bring water, snacks, and any gear you may need (e.g., trekking poles, flashlight, rain gear). * We welcome beginners. But if you are new to hiking or unsure if you can maintain the listed pace and duration, please do some prep walks in advance.
