West Coast Swing International Rally Group West Coast Swing Formation Group Sundays at 4pm – starting on SUNDAY, JUNE 14, 2026 (about 10 Weeks; +/- 1-3 extra practice days) 6/21 Father's Day 7/5 4th of July Weekend **International Rally WCS for 2026** **Song : "Lovely Day" by Raaban** **West Coast Swing Formation Group** **FILMING: SEPT. 12, 2026** **SPOTLIGHT: Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026 at the Dance Scene party** Cost: **$89 per Person for 10 Weeks (1 person)** **$178 per Person for 10 Weeks (couple)** **PLUS $60/PP (Video Editing, Team Shirt) If participating in the recording** **👞👠 Shoes/Clothing** \- clothing should comfortable and suitable for dancing/moving; please bring a change of clean/dry shoes \(not worn outside\); if you don't have dance shoes yet\, dress shoes are best; typical tennis shoes are worst \(they stick to the dance floor and prevent your feet from pivoting/turning\)\. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **West Coast Swing** is a partner dance with roots in Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing and Hustle, characterized by an elastic look that results from its extension-compression technique of partner connection. It is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. The dance allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together, putting West Coast Swing in a short list of dances that emphasize improvisation.
