Think on your feet.** Well Said Toastmasters is a friendly North Raleigh club for professionals and community members who want to become more confident speakers, stronger leaders, and better communicators. Join us for practical speaking practice, constructive feedback, our unique “Listen Up” challenge, and optional Improv sessions after the meetings. **What is “Listen Up”?** Communication isn't just about speaking. Great communicators listen. Our unique “Listen Up” role is where a member keeps track of details said during the meeting and gives us a quiz at the end. It keeps everyone engaged and tests how well we really hear what others are saying. **What are the Improv Sessions like?** Well Said is a practical communication gym, rather than simply another organization that meets to give speeches. We have an optional 20 minute mini workshop after every meeting run by an experienced facilitator. Topics vary depending on interest and include: interviewing, idea pitching, small talk, and conflict resolution. We are the only club in the triangle that offers this! **Not sure?** Guests may simply observe, and ease into participation as you feel comfortable.
