Weld County Native Seed Swap & Giveaway

Help bring more native plants to Weld County! Join Wildlands Restoration Volunteers and local conservation partners for a native seed swap and giveaway featuring seeds collected from native plants throughout the region. Participants can explore a selection of locally collected native seeds, learn about the plants they come from, and take seeds home to direct sow or propagate for planting in Weld County. Information about each seed will be available to help participants choose plants suited to local restoration and gardening efforts. Participants will be asked to keep track of the seeds they take and may be invited to share their germination and growing results with the organizers. This information will help build knowledge about native seed propagation and support future seed collection, sharing, and restoration efforts in Weld County. This event is intended for adults and teens.
