About this event
When I made My 1st visit to Hontoon Island I was intrigued by the Cabins and Tent Camping options, so I did a little research and decided to create a weekend event on the Island...We have done multiple Hikes here in the last month and really have enjoyed it, so a weekend on the Island would allow us the opportunity to see the Trails at night... I rented one of the 8 Person Cabins and invite any Member to join in this Adventure...The total cost is $40 per Member and is due upon RSVP'ing...If more than 8 Members wish to attend I can add another Cabin, and of course if any Members would like to Tent Camp, that option is also available...The Cabin is equipped with 2 Bunk Beds and a Queen sized Futon... Check-in is Friday @2 and I will be there to take care of that; Members need to arrive prior to 5:30 in order to catch the Free Ferry over to the Island...You can also access the Island by Boat, Kayak, or SOP; Swimming is not allowed...Once a few Members secure Their RSVP's, We can discuss Food options and Activities, which can include Hiking, Biking, Fishing, and other options... If You have additional questions about the Island, please visit https://www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/hontoon-island-state-park...If You have specific questions/suggestions about the Event, Call/Text Me @689 203-5116...Thank you...JAP3 RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT: By attending this event, you acknowledge that these events carry the risk of potential harm to myself up to and including the risk of injuries such as broken bones or muscle/tendon injuries, illness, disability, or death.
