Wander out to the edge of town October 15–17 and join us for our COLORFALL Buzz at The Hive! Antiques and More, home of “The Hive,” is a peaceful, little family-owned shop where city and country meet—we’re only ten minutes from the heart of Kearney and just minutes north of Exit 275 on I-80. For nearly 40 years, Papa and I have bought, sold, restored, and loved old things. We still get excited when we uncover a piece with wonderful character, honest signs of age, and a story left to tell. For this special event, The Hive will be so full that our antiques and vintage treasures will spill right out onto the property! Come explore quality antiques, restored furniture, primitives, collectibles, and vintage one-of-a-kind finds. You’ll discover cupboards, dressers, benches, trunks, shelves, boxes, trays, mirrors, buckets, puzzle boards, yardstick trays, and all sorts of unexpected treasures. Papa carefully cleans, repairs, and restores many of our pieces, always preserving as much of their history and original character as possible. When something leaves The Hive, it is ready to take home, put in place, and enjoy—and sturdy enough to keep serving another generation. You’ll also find fall florals, handmade fabric pumpkins, fragrant autumn scent packets, GB’s Kitchen gourmet dip mixes, and copies of Betty Jane’s cookbook. Whether you’re hunting for one special piece, decorating your home for fall, or simply longing for a trip down memory lane, come wander through The Hive and enjoy a little breathing room away from the bustle.
