The Chattahoochee: Re-Imagine our River – Film Showings Monday - Friday | 1PM Saturday and Sunday | 12:30PM Step into the Cowie Weiss Theater for a screening of The Chattahoochee: Re-Imagine Our River. Discover the history, ecology, and importance of the Chattahoochee River and the role it plays in the lives of millions of people and countless wildlife species. Run time: 22 minutes. Recommended for ages 10+ Guided Trail Walk Saturdays | 11AM and 1PM; Sundays | 1PM and 3PM Join a docent for a guided walk along our trails and discover the plants, wildlife, and habitats that make the Chattahoochee watershed unique. Creature Feature Saturdays and Sundays | 2PM Meet one of our ambassador animals and learn about the adaptations, behaviors, and habitats of wildlife native to our region. Canoe Rentals at Beaver Pond ($) Select Saturdays & Sundays May - August | 12:30 - 3:30 PM Join CNC for a fun time out on Beaver Pond when you rent one of our canoes for a half hour time block to explore the pond on your own. Our canoe guides will get you all geared up and into the canoe, then you can take off! Ages 5+; (Participants under 13 must have an adult in their boat). Purchase in person during your visit. Nature Exchange | Open Daily The Nature Exchange (NEX) invites visitors to explore thousands of natural artifacts from around the world while building observation and discovery skills. Start a trader account, learn about the natural world, and grow your own collection during your next visit. (Included with General Admission and Free to CNC Members)
