Drop by Ginter Park to explore a different fun, easy-to-learn craft every Wednesday! Alebrijes are colorful, fantastical creatures that have become a significant part of Mexican folk art since their inception by Pedro Linares in the 1930s. We'll look at some examples of alebrije art and then decorate our own templates on shrink-art paper that will be used to make earrings or keychains.
