About this event
This program is intended for youth in grades 1st through 8th. Learn the basics of weaving with a simple frame loom by making yourself a coaster or maybe even two! Participants will work with a teaching artist who will provide a broad array of scrap fabrics, yarns, roving and more. Participant will go home with one or more finished coasters full of color and character as well as a basic understanding of weaving techniques. Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations, as outlined on our library accessibility page. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund
