About this event
Meeting Room. People once grew "kitchen gardens" near their houses so that women could tend and harvest fruits, herbs, and vegetables. They would then preserve them for the winter months. Presented by members of the Thames River Garden Club members. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for light refreshments and the presentation will begin at 7:00 pm. Celebrate our country's 250th Anniversary with the Waterford Historical Society.
