Do you identify yourself as a Tolkien fan? If so, join the muster! In Marquette University’s effort to document the Tolkien fandom, William Fliss will join us at the library to help build a collection of brief testimonials from Tolkien fans. Their goal is to collect 6,000 interviews, and you can be one of them! Each interview will last about 10 minutes, and you’re invited to share your personal experiences about how you became a fan. When did you first encounter the works of J.R.R. Tolkien? Why are you a fan? What impact has he made for you? Check out their website for more details and view their current digital collection to listen to the interviews already gathered. Register to sign up for a time slot, opening September 24.
