@ Watkins Glen Super Deluxe Allstar Band is a celebration of the Allmans, the Dead, The Band, Little Feat & 70s funk/soul. “Brother Gabe” Johnson has assembled a special super-group of truly world-class players: drummer/singer Cliff Porter (Jamcruise AALx2, Joe Marcinek’s Dead Funk, Jelly Bread), singer/guitarist Pete Kartsounes, keyboardist Brian “Swiz” Swislow (Object Heavy) and bassist Mark Karwan (Jenner Fox, Quattlebaum). Blending deep grooves, soaring improvisation, rich vocal harmonies, and a healthy dose of funk, this all-star lineup delivers timeless songs with heart, soul, and a spirit all its own.
