Washington Sculptors Group Annual Members' Image Show

The Writer’s Center welcomes the Washington Sculptors Group (WSG) for a discussion of their artwork while images and videos are being presented. The Annual Image Show is a great opportunity to discover/rediscover the talent and highly diverse work of Washington area sculptors. DC area gallerists, curators, collectors, and art supporters are invited to attend. Twenty member artists will present their work, followed by Q&A. FREE & open to the public. RSVP below. About The Washington Sculptors Group Founded in 1984, the WSG is a artist-run organization committed to promoting an awareness and understanding of sculpture and the exchange of ideas among sculptors, collectors and the public through exhibitions, events, workshops and social gatherings. WSG plans, manages, and promotes 3–5 juried, curated exhibitions each year in galleries, museums, and alternative spaces throughout the greater DC area. This year that has included exhibits at Glen Echo Park, Harmony Hall and Sandy Spring Museum. In past years, venues have included the Kreeger Museum, the Maclean Project for the Arts, Martin Luther King Memorial Library, and the Phillips Collection at the ARC. WSG publishes three issues of The Washington Sculptor newsletter per year in both hard copy mailed to subscribers and on line.
