Join Historian Shannon Butler on a walking tour through Springside National Historic Landmark. Laid out by the prominent Hudson Valley landscape architect Andrew Jackson Downing, Springside was designed to be a beautifully landscaped retreat for local brewer and philanthropist, Matthew Vassar. Today the site’s paths are still preserved to give us an idea of how Downing wanted people to use and enjoy the land. Registration required.
