About this event

Labyrinths have been used for centuries as a tool for reflection, mindfulness, and stress reduction. Unlike a maze, there are no wrong turns—just a single winding path that invites participants to slow down, notice what they're carrying, and reconnect with themselves. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the history and purpose of the labyrinth before taking part in a guided walk, followed by optional journaling prompts designed to deepen reflection. Hannah Hammond is a Veriditas-Certified Labyrinth Facilitator and Journal to the Self® Instructor who helps people use labyrinth walking and journaling as simple practices for reflection, creativity, and connection. She believes you don’t need to be particularly spiritual, good at meditating, or know what you’re doing to walk a labyrinth, you just need to be willing to follow the path and see what happens. This program offers a welcoming space to pause, reduce stress, and cultivate greater clarity through a simple yet meaningful contemplative practice. No prior experience is necessary, and the workshop is open to ages 16 - adults. Participants will need to provide their own journal.
