Meet at corner of Northwestern Ave and Thomas Road to walk the Wissahickon (aka Forbidden Drive). This is a flat 4 mile walk from Northwestern Ave to Valley Green and back to Northwestern Ave. Meet at the Thomas Road sign post. Orange knapsack for identification. GPS Users: 120 W Northwestern Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118 Then walk away from Germantown Ave until you hit the intersection with Thomas and Andorra Roads. February walks: wet, ice, slush. A hiking or walking stick might be useful.
