Walk for Peace- Deep Run Park

You're invited to join us for a Walk for Peace at Deep Run Park on Sunday, May 17 at 9:00 a.m. This walk is about more than just moving our feet — it's a chance to come together in community and set our intention for peace: in our hearts, our relationships, and our world. As we walk, we'll slow down, breathe deeply, and move with calm and mindfulness — letting each step be a small act of hope and healing. There's no special pace or agenda, just open hearts and a shared commitment to carrying a little more peace with us wherever we go. The trail is an easy one and half mile loop. We will meet in the first parking lot on the right. If you'd like to wear orange in solidarity with the monks who inspired the walk, that would be fitting. Look for the group with orange clothes or accessories. Dress for being in the woods in warm weather. Wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy. Bring insect repellant and a water bottle in case it's hot.
