About this event
The Department of Theater and Dance presents Waiting for Lefty Nov. 5-7, 2026. 7:30pm, Pickard Theater Free and open to the public. Ticket link will be available soon; please check our theater events webpage. Clifford Odets' 1935 masterpiece, Waiting For Lefty, centers on exhausted Depression-era workers in New York City struggling to form a Union and speak truth to power in a world where workers are being suppressed, silenced, and forced to give up everything they hold dear. Translated into an exciting piece of contemporary theater, this is immersive, activist art! Sponsored by the Alice Cooper Morse Fund for the Performing Arts
