Volunteering at LLELA: Help Where It's Needed Most

Spend a morning giving back to nature! Join DFW Young & Social in partnership with Friends of LLELA for a volunteer day, where we’ll be pitching in with whatever tasks are most needed to support their ongoing conservation efforts. Activities will vary depending on the weather and current priorities but may include helping in the nursery, tidying up trails, organizing materials, or other hands-on projects. Whatever the work, you’ll be making a direct impact on this vital nature preserve. What to Bring (we'll bring a lot of the items below, but in limite amount): - Water - Bug spray - Gardening gloves - Comfortable outdoor shoes or boots - Hat & sunscreen - Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty - Hair ties if needed RSVP here on Meetup or on our website, whichever you prefer. Both work, and we see both lists at the door. Good to know - Adults 18 and over. Every DFW Young & Social event is 18+. There are no exceptions, including for guests you bring. - Join our Discord. Our entire community communicates on our Discord server. That includes day of event chats, updates, and general camaraderie. We recommend you join and be part of the conversation, and ask any urgent questions there.
