Volunteer at It's My Park Day

Join us at Austin Parks Foundation's big volunteer event - It's My Park Day . Hundreds of volunteers will grab shovels and rakes, and work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city. There are dozens of events around Austin - choose one that's near and dear to you - or join up with us on one that needs lots of help - Schieffer Tract Wildflower Meadow . We'll be picking up trash, moving rocks, installing fences, planting wildflower seed, and building strong community support for a deserving neighborhood park. Volunteers MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE on the GivePulse website: https://www.givepulse.com/event/937184-schieffer-tract-wildflower-meadow Bring / wear sturdy shoes and clothing, gloves, water bottle, sun protection.
