Visible Mending Workshop with Mariko Sugimori

Do you have any moth-eaten sweaters, frayed socks, or ripped jeans hanging in your closet? Join us at the Putterham Library with Mariko Sugimori of Zoe & Mona Mending for an introduction to basic mending techniques that are also fun and artistic like patching, darning, and sewing a button. This is a beginner friendly class, and all materials will be provided. You're welcome to bring in a garment you’re hoping to repair for a consultation. Buying fewer clothes and maintaining what you have is the best way to reduce your environmental impact. Visible mending not only promotes sustainability but also fosters creativity, saves money, and builds community!
