Virtual Karaoke Meetup - Vocal Jazz

Though you can sing whatever you want, the theme of this virtual karaoke meetup will be vocal jazz songs (please interpret this theme however you wish). I'll keep tabs of people's sign-ups and turns via the Chat. The meeting link should be visible to those who RSVP for the meetup. If you RSVP'd but don't see the link, please let me know and I'll send you the link. I recommend attendees, where possible, have their internet and YouTube (or KaraFun or some similar karaoke tool) open and at the ready. This is because when I play the karaoke music for other people, there seems to be a second lag between the karaoke music and the person's singing. Where this isn't possible for a participant, I can still provide the karaoke music so they have music to sing over. Occasionally, we'll get 'impostors' who disrupt the meeting room before the start of the meeting. Know that I will quickly kick such individuals out of the meeting so we can karaoke in peace. If you arrive before the start of the meeting and encounter that scenario briefly, please don't be discouraged. Due to events at a past meeting, we will start having a vetting process for people attending their first event at these meetings. People I've already vetted and newcomers with profile pictures, when they RSVP, will simply receive a private message with the meeting link. For newcomers without profile pictures, they'll have to ask for the meeting link before being given it. Whether you're a newcomer or not, please do not share the meeting link with those who have not RSVP'd. Please do your best to be on-time for the meeting. The crowd that shows up, not the clock, 'says when'. It will be a lot of fun! Hope you see you there!
