Vets' Day/Rosehill Cemetery

We will meet at the front gate, which was built in 1864. Rosehill Cemetery has 350 acres and was 7 miles north (!) of the city of Chicago when it was created in 1859. Almost 400 Civil War soldiers are buried here, along with many notables from Chicago history (Montgomery Ward, Shedd and others).
