Veterans Day Program with Consulate General of Canada

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is honored to partner with the Consulate General of Canada to commemorate veterans on November 12, 2026. This evening program will explore the Battle of Vimy Ridge and the American soldiers who served alongside Canadian forces during World War I. Committed to the Allied war effort, these men volunteered to serve before the United States officially entered the conflict. Though their contributions are not widely known, their stories deserve to be remembered and honored. We invite you to join us as we reflect on their service, courage, and sacrifice. Throughout the program, Claire M. C. Kennedy, ICd.D, Consul General of Canada, and Scott English, President of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, will offer remarks to provide historical context and insight into this topic.
